Questions / Re: Persistent Queue
« Last post by publicradio on March 27, 2018, 19:41:04 »
I have wanted this functionality as well. However, there is a context menu entry in the main browser called 'play only selected'. I have bound this to a hotkey, ctrl+p. So when I filter down to what I want, I hist control+P and I can now navigate through songs from the browser.

If I skip down to something else, then go back one song, it will go to the previous song in the browser list, not the previous song actually played. This is how I achieve a 'persistent' queue -- although it uses the playlist instead.
Questions / How to play Opus (webm or mka) files?
« Last post by mivk on March 01, 2018, 03:14:00 »
gmusicbrowser doesn't seem to recognize opus files. Is there anything I can do to make it work?

I understand that my gstreamer install on Ubuntu 16.04 can play opus files, and I can actually play them in VLC, SMplayer, mpv, Rythmbox, etc.

I also thought that gmusicbrowser should be able to play anything that gstreamer understands. (I have "gstreamer 1.x" selected in Settings/ Audio)

I have tried wrapping the opus files in .opus, .ogg, .webm and .mka, but gmusicbrowser never seems to recognize them as audio files.

Thanks for any help
Customization / Platinum Icon set for GMusicbrowser

Platinum icon set (Light and Dark)

You are allowed to publish the icons (even for commercial use) and modify it.

Since I posted this, I realized that you can add a filter to the statusbar under your 'Album' tab, and incrementally filter up to albums that have x number if tracks in your library. So this is close to what I was suggesting -- though it would still be good to get this as a rule when creating filters, and it would still be good to be able to use this against total filters, because a 5-track album and a 18-track album might both be full albums.
Questions / Re: How to play all files in a folder/directory just once?

I don't know the exact translation in English (my GMB is in French) but you might want to :
  • select the files you want to play
  • right click -> add selection to the waiting line
  • on the top of the main window : waiting line -> stop when the waiting line is empty
Hope it can help...

il semble que la fonctionnalité "Chercher une image sur internet" ne fonctionne que très partiellement. Même chose chez vous ?
Si oui, que faire ?
