Customization / Intuitive playlists

It's very hard to set up playing songs in desired order in this player

- There is no drag and drop functionality to main playlist
- Once you add songs through GUI, they are played in completely strange order. They should be playing in order as they are in playlist
Customization / Decent Shortcuts

Default action on SPACE is has very weird behavior for a player. It replays the current song from the beginning. Desired action in all players is play/pause

The problem I run into is that in the settings under the Audio tab, Alsa is not listed in the dropdown list of output devices.  Available options are:

auto detect

Today, 2,5 years later I installed Debian with has less packages installed from scratch, and I ran into your issue and was forced to hunt down a solution. Luckily I still had my previous Mint install so I could simply compare what alsa-related packages were installed there. Turns out you need the gstreamer1.0-alsa package to get the config option in gmb.

sudo apt install gstreamer1.0-alsa

Tout d'abord, merci à ceux qui développé gmusicbrowser. C'est impressionnant.
Il y a longtemps que je cherchais un tel outil. Je viens de le trouver et j'avoue qu'il dépasse mes espérances.

Question aussi...
Lorsque j'affiche mes albums selon le trie par "chemin / dossier", est-il possible d'avoir une séparation plus marquée (espace, trait, etc.)
Merci de votre aide.
Questions / Icecast: receiving stream stops whenever a song stops
« Last post by publicradio on May 20, 2019, 07:55:24 »
Hi there,

I'm trying to stream songs with icecast. On a remote machine, I'll open a network stream like this:

Code: [Select]
Code: [Select]
In either case, the stream works when the song's playing, and it stays open when I'm seeking, or pause/playing. But when a song ends and goes to a new song, the stream also ends.

VLC has some pretty complicated commandscommands to keep the stream open, but none of them work for me.

MPV supposedly has a way to keep a stream open, even if it pauses on the server:

Code: [Select]
mpv --keep-open=always --keep-open-pause=no
But this doesn't work for me, either. Basically, no matter what I use to receive gmusicbrowser's stream, it closes as soon as a song ends.

I see on this forum that people have sucessfully used the icecast feature, so how do I make it work for me?

Questions / Cache album artwork

Is it possible to have the album artwork cache. Currently every time I start the problem and I scroll through my standard view it needs to read each album artwork.
