Questions / Repeat one
« Last post by repeat_one on January 26, 2016, 03:07:23 »
In an ideal world, easy things should be easy and difficult things should be possible.

Gmusicbrowser certainly has a wide array of features.

Every CD player I've ever owned had a button to toggle between repeat none / repeat all / repeat one.

If "keep playing the same song" is  something gmusicbrowser supports, then some sort of award for feature obfuscation is in order.

Please note that creating a playlist of one song and setting that to repeat is not a reasonable implementation.

There is no command for that currently, as I still haven't finished the new command system.
But you use that for now :
gmusicbrowser -cmd "RunPerlCode IdleScan()"

Questions / How to add some extra features into file-rename & mass-file-rename
« Last post by mrlee14 on January 18, 2016, 09:17:30 »
Hi. I would like to ask for adding new feature inside file-rename dialog and mass-rename dialog: few choices to add to filerename -> the " " empty spaces inside filename to replace with choice symbol or just remove it. I personally like to replace all spaces with "." inside the filenames I can do this by command line. But it would be nice to have this inside gmusicbrowser in the rename dialog as choice.  I'm familiar with python and pearl also little, where should i look in which file/code section where filenames are ultimately renamed so I can add this my self perhaps... I found mass-rename dialog section and but I get lost to figurit the code :), of course its possible.... any hint would appreciate. I can contribute patch for review.... Thank you for your time. 8)

I have 1.1.15 and is not working. Probably plugin not working due to continues changes on allmusic website? ... just notice
Sorry, it's been fixed for some time in git, but I have not made a new release yet, I will soon.
In the meantime you can apply the simple fix yourself : http://git.gmusicbrowser.org/commit/457196b021

Questions / Read .zip&rar files on-the-fly
« Last post by prankstare on January 11, 2016, 21:18:35 »
Hello!

I was wondering if there's a plugin or package which could be installed to make gmusicbrowser read and index into music library  .zip/.rar or any type of compressed file format without having to decompress or extract. Something along the lines of what Foobar player can do. It's a great feature!

Thanks!
