Customization / Re: Help with customization

I can make two fixed panel which always contain the same thing or two tab panel with user tab (artist info, lyrics, queue, etc.) but I have to choose the two default tab.
What is your choice : fixed or tab (or one fixed and one tab) and which default fixed or tab for the first and for the second ?

(see joined file : two tab first :  queue ; second tab lyrics - user can add more tab but those default tab can't be remove)

You can test yet : copy parking6.layout in ~/.config/gmusicbrowser/layouts/ (create layouts folder if any) and load Parking6 from settings (in Garage layouts) ; note the +/- in right panel status to add or remove second panel

What do you want to put in this panel by default ?
Do you want a vertical ( || ) or horizontal ( = ) panel ?
Hidable/showable panel or it would show/hide with the current context button ?

In Parking5, you just have to click on "info" button to make right panel appear.
Do you want a second panel on the right (it should be easy) ?

Noisybox, see here, isn't far from your wish.
Parking 5 (here, or by default, not sure), with one column on left, mosaic mode in center, information panel on right neither.
I can modify those two layouts to get closer to your wish, if you want.

Thx (I just found explanation in wiki : "Icons for currently playing labels for which an icon is defined in ~/.config/gmusicbrowser/icons/ (by a .png or .svg named "label-" followed by the label name.)").
I didn't know this feature.
It's nice !
67
Ok, and how to do that " just set the heart as icon for selected label " ?
68
Where is this 'sync label' -option ?
69
A column in treesong to see the "lastfm heart" ?

The problem is : how to quit gmb if you had chose "close button = reduce to systray" ?
You have to go to the systray and chose "quit".
IMHO a quit item in the menu could be usefull (in my layout I put a quit button on layout).
But if you want to be as close to Beatbox as possible, you can avoid this usefull item.
For reach beatbox layout, don't forget to :
* limit your statut bar to right panel (no statut bar on left panel on Beatbox)
* put random button
* add library tab (beatbox = library + playlists)
* regroup all library item in the menu in a submenu

Every music browser I know doesn't close its window through title bar button but reduce to systray.
72
You should add a "quit" item in menu too.
And may be a option to hide/show picture.
And, IMHO, the statut bar on bottom should be an unique widjet instead of two widjets.
74
Yes : it would be nice.
