How to change a "clicked on" behavior in another field

I am using the gericom layout and enjoy it's simplicity...

As you see in the attached image, In my setup I have a Genre tab on the left.

If I click on any Genre, the bottom playlist area changes to show every artist in that Genre

What I would like to also happen is that when clicking on a Genre, is that both the Artist and Album tabs on the top right to change and show only the Artists and Albums from that Genre

Is this doable?

There is a bug in the layout, at least in the version I have, the 2 FPanes (artist and album tabs) are not linked to a SongList/SongTree, that can be fixed by adding a group=1 option to the 2 FPanes or by removing all the group=1. I fixed it on the website :
