« on: September 18, 2011, 17:57:40 »
hi ,
i downloaded puddletag and did some bulk changing to my music tags
i rescanned my library after that and it didn't reflect the changes
but playing the particular songs showed them according to the new tag while those unplayed remained like before
what am i missing?
thanks

Don't know if it helps, but in context menu there is an option to 're-read tags' for selected songs.

To update tags, you can select "check now" in the library tab of the settings dialog, though it will only work if the modification time of the files have been changed, it seems some tag editors keep the modification time unchanged, in that case they won't be updated.
To force re-reading the tags, there is the 're-read tags' option in the song context menu that laite mentioned.
