Miracle solved, the album_artist tag was indeed different. I only checked the album and the artist tag. -.-

I know there is currently a bug when some songs of an album have the album_artist set and some not. But it only split the album in 2, this is different.
Have you checked the content of album_artist ? (though I doubt each song would have a different album_artist set)

All the other albums where split in 2, either the album_artist was set or not. The Eels albums where quite awkward, the album_artist was numbered.

I installed gmb recently from the shimmer-ppa and after I imported my library a strange bug appeared. Some of the albums are splitted into several pieces. My first thought was that there is something wrong with the tags, so I checked and rewrote them with Easytag and gmb several times, but the albums are still split. Rythmbox has no problem with them

Anyone an idea why this happens? I attach a screenshot where you can see what I mean. The albums Electro Shock Blues and Daisies of the Galaxy have several entries.

Did you make any progress with this feature? I upgraded to Maverick recently and now I'm curious and want to know how it feels to use the Sound Menu.  :)

Oh, simple solution. I spent an hour trying to fix it.

I installed gmusicbrowser 1.02 from your repository in ubuntu karmic koala and I'm facing a problem with the notify-plugin. Instead of fading a bubble in the top-right corner, a simple box with buttons appears. Any idea why this happens?
