Title: missing cover art after moving library
Post by: urlwolf on January 07, 2011, 12:00:09
I moved my music to a different drive.
Now GMB is missing cover art. My guess is that the old path location is still in the library (even though I removed the old path and put the new one in place).
Any idea why? Workarounds?
THanks

In v1.1.6, you can select all the albums, and select "auto-select" pictures, which will select the pictures the same way it did when you first added the songs.
(it is a little slow, because for each album, it looks if any of the files has an embedded picture, it will become optional)
The other way, which will keep your manual selection if you have made some, is to change the path inside the gmbrc file, see this message http://forum.gmusicbrowser.org/index.php?topic=117.msg393#msg393
As I always say, it's best to use symbolic links, so that the path always stays the same, no matter which disk/partition your music is on (but be careful to always add files from the symbolic path, not the real one).
