It has what you want with the queue and is also very elegant in how it is in the file... a very good learning tool and file to build your own layout on, IMO

You also do not have anything defined for Queue functions ... I made the following edit to that line to get the queue functions you are looking for

FYI, you can also right click in the queue anywhere to get these same functions

It is because you have change the queuelist behavior by turning it into a songtree named queuelist

queuelist is it's own set up variables built in (the "wait for more", "stop when empty", "auto-fill", etc)

I have a question regarding the status of albuminfo.pm in the debian repos

A couple of VSIDO users noticed GMB freezing up when accessing Albuminfo in Context

Reviewing the history on this thread,  I noticed that the freeze issue had been resolved a while back

All VSIDO users use the git version of GMB but I also have the debian repo of GMusicBrowser installed because it corrects 99% of any dependency issues.

Checking the file sizes in git and what is in /usr/share/gmusicbrowser on albuminfo.pm, they are different.  The git file is 35.1k in size and the /usr/share/gmusicbrowser file is 34.7

I verified that copying the git version of the file to /usr/share/gmusicbrowser and replacing that resolves the freezing issue

The question I have is, when using the git version does it actually look and use ~/gmusicbrowser/plugins/albuminfo.pm or is it looking first at /usr/share/gmusicbrowser/albuminfo.pm? Or, if you have a version in ~/.config/gmusicbrowser/plugins, when would it be read?  What is the priority in reading from these locations of the same file?

GMB has a standard tabbed playlist layout that is 'ok' but not to my likings...

It is the google and google hi res that is no longer giving anything, no results and there is nothing happening in terminal when you try a google search

Pulseaudio uses alsa in a sink ... Here is a wiki that explains it quite well

You can keep both, it should not be an issue..  It is good to have both tools if needed. 

I used to use pulseaudio just for a mixer that worked with it. I no longer use that mixer and therefor no longer use pulseaudio but I have not uninstalled it

I am a fan of pulseaudio but it is touchy IMO and I always rely on alsamixer

Have you heard anything through SPDIF yet?  I would use alsamixer or pulseaudio controls to setup SPDIF and make sure they are not muted.  I generally have to do this on every install to enable SPDIF sound
