Il semblerait que le projet soit en pause depuis un moment...Si Quentin passe par ici...  ;)

French / "Chercher une image sur internet": bugs ?
« Last post by coucou on July 04, 2017, 22:10:52 »
Bonjour,
il semble que la fonctionnalité "Chercher une image sur internet" ne fonctionne que très partiellement. Même chose chez vous ?
Si oui, que faire ?

Questions / Re: How to play all files in a folder/directory just once?
« Last post by manoel on June 28, 2017, 23:23:00 »
I got the same problem. Is there a way to configure that music must stop when an album ends?? It's so basic and so annoying... I've searched around the buttons and settings but still haven't found how to do it!

Is there anybody here who can help? Thanks in advance.

Questions / replaygain - do not write tags on files
« Last post by zal1en on June 15, 2017, 20:20:03 »
Hi,

I just started using gmb. So far so good :)

One question: I want to use the replaygain feature but I don't want the files (tags) to get updated cause this causes problem with seeded files.

Is there an option to store all the info only in gmb's database?
I've ticked in settings->Tags
Do not create an id3v1 tag in mp3 files
Do no write the tags

but I believe it still updates the tags on the file and I don't want that.

thanks in advance

Questions / Is it possible to change the genre separator?
« Last post by LondonJohnny on May 31, 2017, 21:15:40 »
Multiple genres are essential, also on the phone. Alas, nothing as good as gmusicbrowser exists for Android.

I've found to option that support multi genres: MusicMonkey and foobar2000. Only the later reads gmusicbrowser genres correcly, but I would like to give the former a try.

Seemingly, MusicMonkey uses semicolon ; as a genre delimiter, whereas gmusicbrowser uses slash /. The latter I gather from reading off the meta-data.

Is it possible to change the output written by gmusicbrowser for genre separators?

(If other suggestion for solution exists, then I'm oopen for that, too. I'm working on a separate collection of test files -- I would not mess with my real collection).

Kind regards,

French / Problème mémorisation des listes
« Last post by philippe2812 on May 27, 2017, 14:12:23 »
Bonjour,
Les titres que j'ajoute à une liste de lecture ne sont pas sauvegardés d'une session sur l'autre. Auriez-vous une explication à cela ?
Cordialement.

You probably emptied or deleted the folder specified as your library in configuration.

Suggestions / Shuffle: distributed random
« Last post by publicradio on May 08, 2017, 19:28:53 »
Would it be possible to shuffle a playlist in a distributed way? Meaning, it would try to play every artist once before it played any artist again. So let's say you had a bunch of artists with one song each, and one artist with 8 songs. The playlist would try to play 8 different artists before it played the one with 8 songs, so the recurrence would be distributed across the playlist.

The idea is that you're always getting variety, like on the radio where they (hopefully) wouldn't play the same artist twice in a row, or twice within a 20 minute period, et cetera.
