Hello,

In gmb 1.1.12 (ubuntu 14.04),  I do not always see embedded pictures.
Some embedded pics are displayed, others are not

An earlier post talks about tagging the picture as 'front cover':

Quoteabout embedded pictures, it only uses them automatically if the embedded picture is tagged as "front cover", I plan to make this condition an option in the future.

Does this still hold ?

Picard embedded a picture in some mp3 file.
Picture type is 'Cover (front)' -- as shown by Kid3.

rhythmbox displays it; gmb does not.
What could be wrong ?

Yes, I still have to add options to the auto-selction of album pictures. :( It's mainly a problem of finding a good UI for it.

If the picture/picture type has been changed after being added to gmb, it won't change anything, currently gmb only auto-select album pictures when the songs are added or when asked to by a sadly obscure way. To make it auto-select a picture again you have to select more than 1 album in the album list and choose "auto-select pictures" in the context menu.

Thanks for the explanations.

I had not tried to run 'auto-select' picture on single tracks. Silly me.
