Y'a une option dans le plugin Info sur l'album pour enregistrer les infos de allmusic dans les tags.
Moi perso je préfère les gérer moi-même.

The only change from Shimmer Desktop layout is an add in line 28 :
Comment(expand_max=500,ellipsize=end)

Right click on tabs and choose 'open xxx' to add a new tab, but there is no 'artists' tab (nor in the choice 'open xxx' neither by default in this layout)


In this layout you can show "genre, etc" by clicking on those buttons :



If you want antoher kind of layout, try another :p

I don't often use static lists (but dynamic list), but when I do that, I put the layout "list, library & context" on and I make my job without problem. With other layout, I have problem, but I don't often use static list so I didn't explore more.

I had the same problem this year, sending my gmbrc to Quentin, etc. until he found the "lock" was on :)

This option isn't visible in all layout. Apply "list, library & context" layout and take a look just before the current song name : if "lock on current song" is on, you will see a padlock there. If there isn't, "lock" is off.

You probably put on the option "lock on current song"

IMHO the first dvlpt's goal should be support Ipod. GMB will not be a viable music browser for distro as soon as it won't be able to support this king of music support. Actually we need to install 2 musicbrowser : one for play music (gmb), one for manage Ipod (rhythmbox, banshee, clementine, ...). unbearable !

I put lastfm_pcget.pm, alone, in ~/.config/gmusicbrowser/plugins and launch gmb through terminal : it doesn't work and i get this :

I put albuminfo.pm, alone, in ~/.config/gmusicbrowser/plugins and launch gmb through terminal : it works (but albuminfo.pm is too in /usr/share/gmusicbrowser/plugins so I guess its version in  ~/.config/gmusicbrowser/plugins isn't taken in consideration)

Hi, new attemps with 1.1.9 : on debian testing, gmb doesn't launcher with epic rating rating plugin and get_from_last_fm (something like that - Laite plugin to catch counter on lastfm or title correction and apply them).
Gmb only works when I delete plugin directory from .config/gmusicbrowser

I think this explain why gmb doesn't work on my ubuntu distribution when I share .config/gmusicbrowser

I close to sure that it's a small incompatibility with Gnome Shell : the problem occurs on Gnome Shell and Cinnamon (a GS fork) but not in Gnome 3 (Gnome Classic Session <=> Gnome fallback <=> Gnome without Gnome Shell).

But in Gnome Classic there is another bug : each click on gmb launcher load another window instead of switch to the opened gmb window.

PS : I'm now on debian testing with Gnome Classic / Shell

I'm not sure there is any difference beetwen Playlist Panel and Context Playlist Panel. I guess taht if you put a Playlist panel with exact same parameters tahn a Context Playlist Panel (group, etc.) you would obtain exactly the same.

By default Playlist show entire library but there is a filter to change that : filter button. For instance in Playlist, Library a context, this button is the second (top left) and it affects Playlist : you can choose entire libray or dynamic filter or saved lists

I don't know if you could put parameters on Playlist panel to show by default saved list but there is a lot of tools to do that in Songlist :

FilterPane1(nb=1,page=list,pages=list) is a panel showing the statics list and if you clic one the songlist will only show the songs in your list.
For instance with Parking5 layout with List in first panel and only songlist :


If you want more filter :
