Questions / Re: Missing icons in gtk3 version?
February 13, 2023, 19:18:49
I had the same problem, after updating to LM22 (desktop) and kubuntu (laptop).
My solution to get the icons back is to change the symbol theme from "Standard" to the downloaded theme "Color", but other themes work fine too.
Just an other hint: With the layout AlexC base/compact the Album takes more than half of the screen.
My solution was to replace in AlexC.layout file "HBcenterup = _Cover" by "HBcenterup = Cover".
Questions / Re: composer/conductor tag empty
October 03, 2021, 16:49:21
Solved,I found the reason, why in my GNB the Composer tag was empty.
It was a mixture of user defined "Komonist" (German for compser) the the GMB field composer.
First I deleted the user defined filed Composer,
do in settings to fields and activate the field composer (in additional fields)
delete column Composer, and add afterwards field composer,
reread tags, restart GMB,
this worked on my GMB.
Thanks a lot.

I have a similar problem. The tags are edited with easyTag. GMB doesn't show "Komponist" (german for Composer), but if I got to extended properties I see Composer. Maybe this is a problem with the tag translation? I added a screenshot with properties and extended.
Thx a lot!

Questions / Display of tag original artist
August 18, 2018, 15:57:32
I have some album tagged with artist, album artist AND original artist (German:"Originalk√ľnstler"). EasyTag displays this tag, but in GMB I can't find this. Especially for the search this would be very helpful.
Is there any way to add/display original artist in GMB?
Composer is  diaplayed in the panel, but not in the search function. Is there any way to search for compser?

Thx a lot
Thanks a lot Quentin,
As suggested from you, I replaced mplayer2 by  mplayer and everything works fine.
I use gmusicbrowser since some years, thanks a lot! Since the upgrade to Linux Mint 16 Cinnamon 32bit, I have the problem that gusicbrowser stops most of the time, but not always playing after each song. No matter if I use the queue or just play by path/album/disk/...order. This happend to my laptop with the same distro, but gmusicbroswer 1.1.10 and my desktop with version 1.1.11 too. I guess this has something to do with mplayer2 (2.0-554-gf63dbad-1ubuntu1), but have no idea for a solution.
Has anybody the same problem and a work around?
