I think it must be because you are still using v1.0.1, v1.0.2 works fine for me with google images.

OH Yeah-that's it Quentin. Thanks man-i was on v1.0.1 too. With the newer version, google works too.

Yes I checked the plugin and it is installed. In debug mode, the output for the cover search is"

Quotefetchcover : loading http://images.google.com/images?q=%22Ugetsu%22%20%22Art%20Blakey%22&imgsz=medium|large
cached result

Sloth radio searches work (funny but last time I looked, prior to starting this thread, I did not notice it to be there). Unfortunately their database seems a little small so a lot of my newer albums do not get any hits.

There is also an option to do searches through freecovers.net, but it does not work; "connection failed".

I forgot to mention earlier that when I attempt a google search through the browser, the response is "no matches found, you might want to remove some search items".

Album covers are not automatically downloaded, but pictures files in the songs folders are used if found (not reimplemented in development version 1.1.x yet).
What you are missing is maybe configuring the browser to show the found covers, by right-clicking on the album list (it will be the default in the future), or by adding the cover column in the song list (right-click on column headers) (You can also use the "with SongTree" browser layout which can display album covers in prettier ways)

OK this works if I set the picture myself. Thank you.

strange, maybe you can run gmb from a terminal and show me the output when searching for covers in google images.

I ran gmb through the terminal but there was no output at all when I tried to do a google search through the browser.

Questions / album covers

Hi I've just found gmusicbrowser after trying a lot of the other music players and I must say I'm very impressed with it. The only thing I can not seem to do is to get the browser working so that it shows album covers. It has not automatically downloaded covers (assuming it does this), and manual searches through google images do not return any hits. Am I missing something----please help.
