Messages - legluondunet

I ask you this question because I have a lot of videos of audio music in my music library and I don't think I'm the only one in this case.

I can no more reproduce this bug anymore, I thing an update correct it. Perrhaps it was a compiz or unity bug...

Whatever thanks for your attention.

I could reproduce the bug every time:

1) launch Gmusicbrowser (1.1.8 on Ubuntu Oneiric with Conz Glimm dirent controls layout)
2) alt+left click of the mouse to move gmb window, it works
3) hide the window (right click on the gmb tray icon, hide)
4) right click on the gmb tray icon, show gmb
5) alt+left click of the mouse to move gmb window, it doesn't move the window but act like a copy paste on the palylist or other gmb window component you are clicking on.

It's very annoying bug, could you reproduce it?

Thanks for your help Quentin.

sometimes top window border place behind the tray (gnome panel, unity panel) and you can no more move it with the border top. In this case, you could use compiz feature: alt+  left clik mouse, to move the window. But I don't know why, it doesn't work with Gmusicbrowser window, it's a Gmusicbrowser bug or Python Gtk interface bug?

Thanks for your help.

I would like to know if it is planned to add Gmusicbrowser playing audio stream from video file like avi, ogv, mkv?
Gmusicbrowser uses Gstreamer to play audio file, so it will be possible to ask gstreamer to play other type of media file, isn't it?
So there is no solution or workaround? It is planned to make this plugin compatible with other librairies more supported in most distributions?
Thanks for your help.

Works great in natty, but it misses me the ability to add ratings, like in the gmusicbrowser original tray menu.

could you add this functionnality for a better cover management in Gmusicbrowser:

-> action: when Gmusicbrowser starts to play a file, it searchs for a picture:

1) with the name of the album, like it does actually, and update the config file if the cover is new or have changed
2) for singles music file: artist with title and update the config file if the cover is new or have changed

Like this Gmusicbrowser could update dynamically the cover and you have no more to delete the config file for it to find your new cover changes.
With this new functionnality, we could add easily cover for singles files like this:

example for singles:
music file = artist - title.mp3
GMB searchs for a cover = artist - title.png (or jpg...)

Please try to add this for a simply and dynamically cover management in Gmusicbrowser.

Hello, all the idea is in the title, for the singles only, when i'm searching for a cover with gmusicbrowser, it ask me where to save it on my disk. I prefer to save the cover in the music file, not on my disc, in the tag idv3 "image", is it possible you add this option?
