edit: This is not related to gmusicbrowser, but to Xubuntu in general. Nothing to see here, move along.

Just after booting Xubuntu, starting gmusicbrowser and playing a song the volume is at 100%. If I touch any volume knob (or press the volume down on the keyboard) the volume jumps to what it was before - i.e. 30% or so. So, it jumps right back to the previous volume setting, it does not go there in increments. It's like the system remembers the previous volume, but ignores to set it until the volume is changed manually after startup. Thoughts?

Some sysinfo:
Xubuntu 12.04
kernel 3.3.0-3.dmz.1-liquorix-amd64
gmusicbrowser 1.1.9
pulseaudio 1:1.1-0ubuntu15
ALSA 1.0.24
Sound card: ASUS Xonar D2X (analouge out)

Suggestions / Auto (re)tag files
May 28, 2012, 20:12:09
I'd like to request the feature to auto tag files. I'm not sure how it's done (analyze the track, and/or go by filename?), but Winamp does it really well. (right click file, send to > tag).

cheers,
